Technology: Computer Refresh Schedule

All computer desktops and laptops are refreshed periodically to ensure the most efficient and reliable use of these tools. In line with manufacturer's warrantees, Fitchburg State University replaces desktop computers every four years and laptop computers every three years. This refresh schedule is based on the fiscal year and individual systems will be refreshed after lab systems are upgraded. If your system is due for refreshing, you will be contacted individually to schedule this change and minimize any impact. For any questions email jturner@fitchburgstate.edu.
